3️⃣ Explanation (توضیح فارسی ساده)

🔹 Structure (ساختار)

1. Shift in tenses (تغییر زمان)



Present → Past: I am → He said he was

Present perfect → Past perfect: I have done → He said he had done

Past simple → Past perfect: I went → He said he had gone


2. Change in pronouns (تغییر ضمایر)



I → he/she, we → they, you → I/they


3. Change in time/place expressions



now → then, today → that day, tomorrow → the next day, here → there


4. Modal verbs



can → could, may → might, will → would, must → had to

Direct: “I am tired,” she said.
Reported: She said she was tired.
او گفت که خسته است.

Direct: “I have finished my homework,” he said.
Reported: He said he had finished his homework.
او گفت که تکالیفش را تمام کرده است.

Direct: “I will help you tomorrow,” she said.
Reported: She said she would help me the next day.
او گفت که روز بعد به من کمک خواهد کرد.

Direct: “I can do it,” he said.
Reported: He said he could do it.
او گفت که می‌تواند این کار را انجام دهد.

❌ She said she is tired → زمان درست نیست
✅ She said she was tired.

❌ He said he have finished → زمان درست نیست
✅ He said he had finished.

❌ She said she will help tomorrow → زمان و عبارت زمانی تغییر نکرده
✅ She said she would help the next day.
