حروف اضافه برای بیان رابطه بین اسم‌ها و دیگر اجزای جمله استفاده می‌شوند، مخصوصاً برای مکان، زمان و جهت.

🔹 Prepositions of Place (مکان)

in → داخل

on → روی

at → کنار / در


📌 مثال:

The book is on the table.

I am at home.

There is a cat in the box.

🔹 Prepositions of Time (زمان)

in → ماه، سال، صبح / عصر / فصل

on → روز، تاریخ

at → ساعت


📌 مثال:

I was born in 2000.

My birthday is on Monday.

The meeting is at 9 o’clock.

🔹 Prepositions of Direction / Movement (جهت)

to → به سمت

from → از

into → به داخل


📌 مثال:

I go to school.

She came from Iran.

He went into the room.

❌ I am in the bus.
✅ I am on the bus.

❌ I will meet you in 5 o’clock.
✅ I will meet you at 5 o’clock.

❌ He came to home.
✅ He came home / He went to home
