🔹 Structure (ساختار)

Negative adverb + auxiliary + subject + main verb

Common negative adverbs: never, rarely, seldom, hardly, scarcely, little, nowhere


Examples:

Never have I seen such a beautiful place.
هرگز چنین مکان زیبایی ندیده‌ام.

Rarely does he arrive on time.
به ندرت به موقع می‌رسد.

Hardly had we started when it began to rain.
به سختی شروع کرده بودیم که باران شروع شد.

Little did she know about the surprise.
او هیچ‌چیز درباره سورپرایز نمی‌دانست.

Never had I imagined it would be so difficult.
هرگز تصور نمی‌کردم اینقدر سخت باشد.

Seldom do we see such dedication.
به ندرت چنین تعهدی می‌بینیم.

Hardly had they left when the phone rang.
به سختی آن‌ها رفته بودند که تلفن زنگ زد.

Little did he expect the results.
او هیچ انتظار نداشت نتایج را.

✅ Never have I seen such a place.

❌ Rarely he arrives on time → ترتیب اشتباه
✅ Rarely does he arrive on time.

❌ Hardly we started → فعل کمکی و ترتیب غلط
✅ Hardly had we started.
