درس ۱۵ – نشانگرهای گفتار و انسجام

در سطح ادونس، استفاده از Discourse Markers باعث روان‌تر شدن متن، اتصال ایده‌ها و رسمی شدن نوشتار می‌شود. این مهارت در رایتینگ آکادمیک و اسپیکینگ سطح بالا بسیار مؤثر است.

1) Adding Information

برای افزودن اطلاعات

Markers: furthermore, in addition, moreover, also

Examples:

The project is innovative. Furthermore, it is cost-effective.
پروژه نوآورانه است. علاوه بر این، مقرون‌به‌صرفه است.

She is talented. Moreover, she is hardworking.
او با استعداد است. علاوه بر این، سخت‌کوش است.

2) Contrasting Ideas

برای بیان تضاد

Markers: however, on the other hand, nevertheless, although

Examples:

The plan seems good. However, it might be expensive.
طرح خوب به نظر می‌رسد. با این حال، ممکن است گران باشد.

Although it was raining, they continued the match.
اگرچه باران می‌بارید، آن‌ها بازی را ادامه دادند.

3) Giving Examples

Markers: for example, for instance, such as, namely

Examples:

Many fruits are rich in vitamins, such as oranges and kiwis.
میوه‌های زیادی سرشار از ویتامین هستند، مانند پرتقال و کیوی.

Renewable energy sources, for example solar and wind, are important.
منابع انرژی تجدیدپذیر، مثل خورشیدی و بادی، اهمیت دارند.

Examples:

He studied hard; therefore, he passed the exam.

شرکت به‌سرعت گسترش یافت و در نتیجه، سودها افزایش یافت.
